Darrell Armstrong was a solid player for the Orlando Magic
Point guard Darrell Armstrong was a pretty solid player for the Magic back in the day. He played in 502 games (291 starts) in his nine years with the Magic and he averaged 28.4 minutes, 11.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.7 steals per game. His best season for the Magic came back in 1999-2000, when he played in 82 games (all starts) in which he averaged 31.6 minutes, 16.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 2.1 assists per game. Armstrong is still #5 in games played (502) in Magic’ history. He is also #6 in three pointers made (654), #9 in offensive rebounds (487), #9 in defensive rebounds (1,158), #10 in total rebounds (1,645), #3 in assists (2,555), #2 in steals (830) and #9 in points scored (5,898) in Magic’ history.
